Summer is here and I have just designed a shell wind chime mobile with precious stones jewels dangling on them! This is actually my mother's wind chime that she had years ago and it broke apart so she asked me to redesign and reassemble it for her. I used fish wire and silver plated wire to tie all the shell pieces and whiskey quartz, teal blue quartz, lavender blue chalcedony, hot pink chalcedony, citrine precious stones together to create this peach summer shell wind chime. I just love the sound of the shells hitting each other in the wind. It's soothing beach music to the ears. This summer shell wind chime is the inspiration for my sterling silver shell necklaces above. They are part of my unique summer jewelry collection with blue or pink chalcedony stones, freshwater pearls, or Swarovski star fishes incorporated in the designs. KBlossoms has just released some whiskey quartz earrings and necklaces! These are rare sparkly and very large precious stones that I have used with gold orchids and resin cherry blossoms in a nature-inspired summer design.
My inspiration for creating these beautiful whiskey quartz jewelry designs comes from the Chinese Gardens at the Huntington Library in San Marino. Above is a sepia tone picture of the beautiful Chinese Garden and beautiful tranquil gazebo. There is also a Chinese tea house in the gardens for you to relax with some afternoon jasmine tea. There is also an intricately engraved wood carving wall decor inside the gardens. If you are inspired, please visit my Etsy shop at www.kblossoms.etsy.com to find my whiskey quartz jewelry!
KBlossoms has just released a line of peacock teal blue quartz necklaces and earrings! My designs are inspired by the beautiful peacocks of the Arcadia Arboretum. My micro-faceted pear and marquis briolettes reflect the peacock's teal blue plumage that is sparkly and iridescent. These teal blue quartz jewelry will go perfectly with any green, teal green, or orange dress to wear to a gala or cocktail event! Visit my Etsy shop to see more: www.kblossoms.etsy.com.
This is my latest artistic, environmentally-friendly, intricate wind chime mobile creation for my dad on Father’s Day which falls on June 19th this year! I just love the sound of chimes and the beautiful sound of the sparkly precious stones tinkling against the glass soda bottles.
Kblossoms has created a very “green” and environmentally friendly recycled wind chime design where I re-use all my left-over broken or damaged beads, charms, and pendants in a one-of-a kind artistic creation. This is a perfect gift for my dad, an avid gardener who will appreciate this wind chime since he loves to collect junk and never wants to throw anything away. I would feel very guilty throwing away these beautiful precious beads even when they are slightly damaged. I think putting these beads in a wind chime creation is a great way to re-use my beads for forever so they never end up in the trash.
This gold wind chime is entirely hand-made using recycled glass soda bottles, semi-precious and precious stones, matte gold and gold plated designs, gold plated chains that were left-over pieces from my jewelry collection. I used pearls, rose quartz, peacock teal blue quartz, emerald green onyx, champagne yellow mystic quartz, blue chalcedony, pink amethyst, smokey quartz, orange chalcedony, and other precious stones in this wind chime. The precious stones within the glass bottles are the smaller stones that have their tops broken off during the wire wrapping process. I wire wrapped the larger stones to the chains. I also used strong gold plated and silver wire to wire wrap all the precious beads together on the gold chain strand. This wind chime is meant to be left outdoors and rust over time to create that antique patina look. The beads and glass coke bottles will jingle and sparkle as the soft wind blows and the sun’s rays hits them. I wrapped burgundy red ribbon around the wooden clothing hanger and tied a nice golden bow to it to give it a nice “gift” accent it.
Summer is just around the corner and trees are growing and turning green all around us! KBlossoms has released its new collection of Tree of Life necklaces with pink chalcedony, prenite, green amethyst, citrine, pearl, and bird designs.
The tree of life is a universal symbol found in many traditions and cultures. It symbolizes many things including wisdom, strength, beauty, growth, protection and regeneration. It also represents human beings as we grow up and develop solid roots, a stable trunk foundation and branches of wisdom as we embark on new life journeys. The tree grows and bears fruit and gives us shelter. It is an important symbol in many cultures and religions linking the heavens, earth, and everything below. The tree of life in my jewelry designs symbolizes harmony and unity with all living beings. When you wear it, it symbolizes harmony with nature including the trees, birds, and the earth where the gemstones originate from. You can now buy your own tree of life necklace on my Etsy shop: http://www.kblossoms.etsy.com/!
