   I was so lucky to have had the opportunity to visit Oakland during the end of February.  The weather in Oakland was sunny and warm and felt like early Spring!  All the pink magnolia trees you see above were in full bloom at Preservation Park.  They add beautiful Springtime foliage to a circle of beautiful Victorian homes that remind me so much of the colorful gingerbread homes of Martha's Vineyard, MA!  The pink cherry blossoms seen above are taken from Rockridge, this upper class area of Oakland.  Rockridge is a ritzy area with beautiful boutique shops, coffee houses, restaurants, and markets.  They have many residential streets just lined with these pink blossoms in full bloom!  I'm so delighted to capture these pink magnolia and cherry blossom photos on my camera.
