This is my Kblossoms Japanese pink cherry blossom watercolor painting poster print! I was inspired by my trip to Japan in April of 2019 to see sakuras all over Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka! I painted this using Daniel Smith's Opera Pink watercolor tubes, which I think is a beautiful vibrant color perfect for sakuras giving it a pop. I also used Rembrant watercolor palette to create the branch and stamen. This painting has an ephemeral feel to it as sakuras bloom and fall down the tree quickly in a 2 week period staying with us briefly.
