Begonia Maculata orange bird Chinese Brush Calligraphy
This is my Begonia Maculata orange bird Chinese Brush Calligraphy. Begonia maculata is a cane-like species native to Brazil. On this selection the large, long leaves are olive green on the top covered with large silver dots. The back of the leaf is red. It has large clusters of pinkish orange flowers. This is a very difficult species begonia that needs extremely high humidity (over 70%) to thrive. This painting is perfect for all begonia and indoor plant lovers. I painted it using orange, green, brown and gold calligraphy ink. The orange flowers have hints of gold sparkly ink in the middle.
