Description of "Peach Blossoms"
This peach blossom painting has an 80's feel to it, with different shades of light olive green in the background and 2 dimensional fluorescent peach and light beige peach blossoms in the foreground. The branches of the tree are painted with Alizarine crimson and Payne's gray colors creating a three dimensional effect. I wanted to use different colors for my paintings because homes, apartments, condos, offices where these paintings can one day be hung come in different sizes, shapes, colors, and interior decor. I hope that one of these cherry blossom paintings can suit everyone's individual design taste. Almost all my cherry blossoms paintings are painted with a different style each time. It's almost a challenge to myself to see how many different styles of painting cherry blossoms I can come up with. So stay tuned for more. If you like what you see, please leave me a comment. Thanks!
Inspiration for "Peach Blossoms"
The three peach inspirational flowers below from Huntington Library Botanical Gardens has inspired me to paint this painting. I do not know the name of the first flower but if you do, please let me know. The peach rose and orchid are so rare to find in nature. Peach colors are just so pretty perfect for spring and summer decor.
I have just launched my new nature-inspired jewelry collection on this website. Below are a few peach colored earrings and necklaces that match the "Peach Blossoms" painting above. Please take some time to check out my silver jewelry here or my gold jewelry at www.etsy.com/shop/kblossoms. You'll find lots of fall colors, leaves and bird jewelry!
